Madhumita Srivastava

Madhumita Srivastava is an architect and designer and she leads the brand design, graphic design and environmental design projects at Sarika Bajoria Unlimited. She received a Masters in Architecture degree from the University of Michigan and Masters in Fine Art in Design and Technology with a specialization in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics from the Parsons School of Design in New York. Through her unique multidisciplinary background, she brings a holistic design approach that blurs the boundaries between design disciplines and creates a cohesive narrative and unique visual identity  and user experience for every project.

 

Her international projects span multiple disciplines including brand design, graphic design, motion graphics, environmental graphics, set design and visual merchandising. Madhumita has worked on several graphic user interface projects and created easy to use and intuitive designs for digital apps and websites. Her international clients include large corporations, television and media, retail, institutional and nonprofits.

 

For the past sixteen years Madhumita has assumed a proactive role as an educator in the field of architecture and design. She is the design faculty at Parsons School of Design Mumbai and Inuit Ecole Lab, where teaches design studios focusing on research and hands on exploration in contemporary art and design. She has taught graphic design and digital video design at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Parsons School of Design New York.  She served as the Department Chair of the Masters of Architecture program at Rachana Sansad Academy, Mumbai for many years. She has conducted many art workshops for children at the Prince of Wales Museum, the Bandra Festival, Ecole Mondiale School and the Pomegranate Workshop among others.
