The Lotte Department Store is envisioned to be the new high end shopping destination in Tianjin consisting of 5 large floors for the different retail departments. Each floor is designed to have a unique identity that enhances the experience of the shopper and displays the merchandise strategically. The design of the atrium is unique with merchandising display boxes projecting in the void and a central light sculpture descending in a centrifugal motion from the atrium skylights above.

Sarika Bajoria collaborated with Design Republic  as a senior design consultant responsible for Concept Design through Construction Documentation of specific retail and specialty floors and the main public atrium space for the Department Store.
